Privacy Policy

ModAI is an iPhone app made by App Frontrunners LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use ModAI. The short version: we use your photos only to make the edits you ask for, we don't sell your data, we don't show ads in the app and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

What stays on your iPhone

Your garage — the photos of your vehicles, every edit and video you make, your saved steps — plus your settings, your onboarding answers, your profile name and photo, and any prompts you save are stored on your device. We can't see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

What leaves your iPhone to make an edit

When you ask for an edit or a video, the app sends the photo you chose (and, if you added one, a logo image), plus the description of the change — either a mod you picked or the words you typed — to the ModAI server. The server passes them to our AI provider, Higgsfield, which generates the result and sends it back to the app. Your uploaded photo and the result are kept by Higgsfield only as long as needed to produce and deliver it, under Higgsfield's own privacy terms. Our server doesn't keep a copy of your photos, results or prompts. These are not linked to your name, email or any account — ModAI doesn't have accounts.

Please only upload photos you have the right to use, and avoid photos where people or number plates you don't want processed are visible.

Subscriptions and purchases

Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card details. We use Superwall to show the ModAI Pro offer and to know whether you have an active subscription. Superwall receives an anonymous app user ID, your device and app version, your purchase and subscription status, how you interact with the offer screen and, to tailor the offer, your onboarding answers (what you drive, what you'll make, how often you post). This is used to provide subscriptions and to understand how the offer performs, not to identify you; Superwall also passes subscription events to AppStack for ad attribution (below).

Ads and install attribution

If you install ModAI after seeing one of our ads, we use AppStack to learn which ad campaign led to the install and to any subscription that follows, so we can tell which ads work. AppStack receives an install ID it creates for ModAI, basic device, network and app information, and — through Superwall — your subscription events. ModAI doesn't ask to track you and never reads your device's advertising identifier (IDFA); attribution otherwise uses Apple's privacy-preserving ad attribution (SKAdNetwork).

Notifications

If you start a free trial and allow notifications, the app schedules a reminder on your device a day before the trial ends. You can turn notifications off in Settings at any time.

Camera and Photos

The camera is used only when you choose to photograph your vehicle. The app picks photos through Apple's photo picker, so it only ever sees the photos you select. With your permission it saves your results to your Photos library.

Children

ModAI isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can delete anything in your garage inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your device. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions. For questions about data held by our providers, or any privacy request, email us at SUPPORT_EMAIL.

If this policy changes we'll update this page and its effective date.
